Can I ask the consensus on tubing installation on to the clear check valve. Do most push tubing past the single ridge or just as far as you can by hand? We used CDL smart spout the last few years and are trying these this year. The smart spout we just pushed on as far as possible by hand and were good.

Thanks, Craig

I use my one handed tubing tool

I push them all the way on. Otherwise I've had the tubing slip off of the spout a couple times, and it's always on top of the mountain not down by the road.

For the most part I called it good past the first ridge although most were quite always past that. Did have a couple push off after a multi day hard freeze but it was rare

I tap the tap into the tree first and then push the tubing on as far as it will go by hand making sure that the tubing goes over the ridge. The only time I had a line come off was when a dead tree fell over a lateral.

I find it easier to just use my one handed tool.

I used the hot end system to put on most. Smooth as butter.
