I am looking for suggestions for a food grade paint to use on galvanized metal. I see the 'go to' in the USA seems to be Camcote but I can not find that in Canada.

any suggestions? Currently refurbishing an old galvanized honey extractor but I see on other forums that there are often uses for this on old galvanized sap buckets etc. as well.

One product I have seen is Steel It but find it cost prohibitive for my project ...

thx

Interline 925 is ok for potable water

Carboline also have a lot of coating:

Being ok for potable water is not the same as food grade. At our local OMSPA meeting on Saturday Paul Bailey from OMAFRA strongly discouraged painting any surfaces that come in contact with sap or syrup. I'm pretty sure that the new law that fully comes into effect in Ontario on January 1, 2018 does not allow galvanized steel in contact with sap or syrup.
