Collection point question

We are running several long lines of tubing on a gravity vacuum into collections totes. We have 150 feet of vertical drop so vacuum on 3/16 should be good. My question is how far into the collection tank should be terminating end of that line be? If that is going below the level of the sap, will we get back pressure on our vacuum?

You don't want it to were the sap will reach your laterals.

Hold it into the collection tank just a few inches by whatever means you need. Do not extend it so the outlet end of the line will be under the sap level.

When we ran tubing into collection barrels we ran it in just far enough to secure it and keep it above potential sap levels.
