Any one have experience with this valve? is it worth the money?

Yes and yes they are worth the money. My Wife even loves them now,there was a little hesitation at first.

I built 2 that are similar to Leader's. I would not bottle without them.

Wiam what did you use for a probe for the stop fill? I have all the parts to make one just could not figure out the probe.

Just the end of the "stop" wire. I used half of wire tie around the nozzle and a rubber oring up higher to hold it.

I understand how to mount it but what did you use for a stop wire and how does it close the valve?

It is a piece of 22 gauge coated wire.

No I probably wouldn't. Enough said. I have a few probes in mind but did not want to shell out a bunch for R&D. Thanks Jeff

Any problems anyone have with this valve - is it faster then turning a valve by hand or just easier?

I have two on a 40 gal water jacketed canner, they work great and have saved many overflows (mostly due to my failures at multitasking :lol:)
