I am looking to make the major switch from tractor gathering in the bush from 5 separate tanks to moving the sap via mainline across neighbors properties to the road below. The mainline would run straight down the fall line more-less, as opposed to along a slope as is typically done. I'm wondering whether it matters that the sap will be dropping down approximately 350 vertical feet over about 1000 horizontal feet before reaching the tanks. I can't see why this would matter for me but in reading about mainline installations, low slope for mainline is always emphasized. Can I get some reassurance that this will not be an issue. Thanks!
