So I finally decided no more turkey fryer and firepit this year with the help of 2 good friends I made a cinderblock evaporator tell me what u think I have no tried it yet I'm missing the front door and fire bricks

You will have a blast standing around stocking the fire. Fill the holes with sand to keep the heat in.

Looks good, Sam. I found that adding some extra air using a small fan helps the boil tremendously. See photo) I melted that fan and replaced with a metal one. I tried an electric leaf blower connected to flex duct once and sent flames out the stack. Too much of a good thing! You'll be happy with whatever extra air you can add.
