I tapped 104 (buckets) and I'm going to get set up and boil tomorrow.

I live a few miles east of you, Parish/Mexico/Hastings area,tapped a few this week, got about 60 gal of sap, trying to tap only sugar and no reds,seeing if it makes much of a difference this wknd with my first boil.

11 quarts of syrup so far. Had to thaw 80 gallons of sap frozen in drums using an immersible heater.
