Check Valve Spout Drop Lines

I had some check valve spouts and figured I would use them even though I'm not on vacuum. When I made drop lines I then realized these spouts don't fit into the holder on the tee (LaPierre dropline tee). What do folks with these spouts do to protect them before tapping? Also, it seems these should only be used for one season. Is that correct?

Yes they are single use and most guys around here just let them hang if they put them on before they go thru and tap .

Are you using the clear ones or black poly ones

Are you using cup tees or pin tees?

If you're putting the CV2's on now I'd just let them hang until you tap.

I have the clear poly ones and my drop tees are the pin-style. The pin is too large for the CV spout.

We've tried some of the pin tees and I don't like them - too many fall off. We now only use the cup tees for new installations.
