Has anyone tried using fusion silicon tape to repair laterals under vacuum? Wondering if this could be an alternative to replacement from squirrel damage.

I've always found electrical tape to work very well.

just cut it out and use straight connector.
like Jared said electrical tape works, but as mark said it usually only a year fix
fusion tape/silicone tape/rescue tape works great on main lines, so I would suspect that it would work just fine on 5/16.

here's the ebay link where I buy mine from.

or....peel the old electrical tape off because its leaking and keep retaping until you realize how much time you've wasted and then just put a whole new strand in. Same with taping and putting in connecters on lines touching a down limb or log where the squirrells hang out before you finally realize how much time you've spent and then go get the chainsaw.
