View Full Version : Spring tech micro elite
I purchased one used last spring. It came filled with glycol. I have yet to start the ro up. Can anyone tell me what procedure to use to remove the glycol and get the machine up and running?

Congratulations ADK finally got a RO Now dang it man why didn't you get the instructions? I just have to laugh at all the equipment made without instructions.
I got the instructions but it doesn't say anything about a specific process at startup when it is filled with glycol
My first ro was used. Had glycol/preservative in it. I rinsed with rated capacity of soft water as the dealer told me. First 2-15 gallon drums I made that year were nasty. Since then I always do a short rinse then a wash cycle then rinse with rated capacity with spring water. Not saying this is right, but it works for me.

Wait... you didnt already have this planned out and researched for 3 years in advance?
Make sure you rinse with at least the rated amount if water (100 gal for 100 gph machine). And do a wash followed by another rinse.

Do a Rinse and a soap wash and then a rinse.
