I'm so sorry I've tuned in to this thread a few days late. Please... do not inflate his ego. We don't want his head getting any bigger. He lives his life with his head up his ____. If his head swells any further it might rupture his butt.
Haven't seen you in awhile, man. When are you coming around? I'm stringing tubing in the next week. Cleaned my cage tanks today. Might tap early like you usually do.

Camo because there is nothing better than walking the woods for an hr at sunset looking for it. OK sweetie Im not mad and I know you set it next to a tree that had a tap sticking out of it. OH O K yes it was by a clump of other trees big trees MMMMMMMM that should help. The right side of the tree well that narrows it down **&^^$#$%#%^$&*

I just spray painted mine. Used the best primer the store had, and a good quality topcoat. I'll let you know in a few years how it held up. lol

Hey motobrowne. I tried to message you, but your inbox is full. If you see this, your tool will be in the mail in the morning.

I wouldn't worry to much about how good the paint is because after a season of throwing it in and out of a bucket full of hammers, pliers, Kline's, wire pull, spool of utility wire it will be chipped up.

Just received my tubing tool from Psparr yesterday. Wonderful! Looking forward to trying some 3/16th lines this year. Thanks so much for the quick delivery Psparr.

Years ago, I helped a friend tap his trees using his tubing tool. It had a pointed spike that we could rest/push into the tree somewhat to support the tool. Very convenient.

I see you skipped tapping that tree, just to the left, in your photo. Dollars to doughnuts it'll produce 3.5% sap!!!

Much appreciated guys.
What's the price for a 5/16 tool?
psparr

I ask $160 for either 5/16 or 3/16. That includes shipping, and you don't need to pay till you receive it.
I know it's not cheap, but with the materials and time to make one, I feel it's a fair price.

I just bought one of each from psparr. Money well spent. Solid build and works as it should. Bought them both for the price of either from other sources. Thanks psparr!

Hi i just wanted to say that the price is more than fair on them and if you can sell them for $160 I think the big companies out there could definitely lower their prices(like in half) and the little guys out there that want to get started in the most rewarding hobby that I have found, could. Nice job and they look great.

Hey motobrowne, just got your message, but your inbox is full. Hope your season goes well. Let me know how the tool works out.
Hey Paul, I have a suggestion for future tubing tool builds, you could mount a set of reader glasses or a magnifying glass about 6 inches up from the handles. When someone calls about a tubing tool you can ask, " Are you an old fart that uses readers and would you like them installed on the tool ?" I was having a hard time getting the hang of using it, even went to town and got a stronger set of readers, but I was still damaging some of the t's while trying to install drops, almost cussed you out ! But I got it figured out, and even started having fun with this hobby again. I am right handed , but I was holding the drop with my left hand. When I changed to the other side, it got me closer to the tool and made a world of difference. I've got about 150 taps done, have about 50 to finish tomorrow, sap is running good. Thanks again Ron.

Hello,
Please tell me how to put in my order. I have heard wonderful things here about your work and would much rather help a fellow syrup head than a corp. I think a 3/16 two hander to start with would be great.
Thank You!

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who put their trust in me and purchased a tool this year. Made about 15-17 which is tremendous.
So again, thank you all.
Patrick.
