This year I'm making my first cinderblock evaporator does anyone have pictures they can post or even email me so I can get an idea of what it should look like inside and out I have the pan already I just need help especially installing the flue thanks

Sam do you plan on making it permanent? There is a big difference in throwing one together for the season and then hiding from the wife when your done and one your hoping to have around for a few years.

Hi Sam,
I'm close by in Ansonia. You're welcome to stop over for ideas of what to do or not. Using steam pans, I get 8-10 gph evap when she's cranking.
Sam, I used a bed frame for the metal frame up top, riveted 1/4 woven rail gasket. With your pan, no need for the cross supports (for steam pans). I riveted the rail gasket because I lift my pans after each boil. Ceramic Rail gasket for your flue pan would be nice n snug.
Oh yeah, one more thing I would consider, going with an 8" pipe.
