If you keep it under 100 taps you will have better vacuum transfer.

Unless your are working with what you have. I found for our 330 tap operation that 1" reduced/eliminated a lot of freezing issues and better vac transfer at fittings. I use 1" mainline and in a few spots will branch off with a 3/4" run which has good slope.

You should not have slopes of 22% on mainlines. Run them gradually up the hill, going across the slope, then run your laterals up the steep slope. For mainlines, about 5% works good, maybe 10-12% tops, unless you can't avoid the steepness because of your woods.

Yeah, my woods wouldn't be great for that. It's relatively narrow (across the slop) and long (down the slope)
