Question on H2O Innovations 70-400 8"X40 membrane in a D&G 600 RO

I have a new to me D&G 600 RO (like the old springtech 500). Would I wash and rinse this H2O membrane according to the instructions in the RO owners manual, or are the H2O membranes different from what was originally in the machine, requiring different soap?

Check the spec sheet for the membrane that is in the machine. Most membranes are close to the same washing requirments but its better to be sure.

That membrane should be washed different than what was in there originally. Ph is different. H20 recommends liquid bio membrane cleaner, also an oxisan wash and citric acid depending how high you concentrate and how hard you minerals are. We stock those items if you want to go that route. Do you have a history or benchmark on the membrane?
