I was in Stow Vt. yesterday , the guy I went to see was useing buckets , I walked over to the closest tree , the bottom of the bucket was at my chin.WOW, he said he had tapped three weeks ago when the snow was a little deeper. We've all heard of deep snow and high taps , he was getting ready to pull the buckets and drop them to the ground.

Wow! Our snow is almost completely gone. We didn't have any more than knee deep snow all winter.

Yes...we got a lot of snow here in Vermont during Feb. and Mar. In fact, ...in just two storms, we got 37 inches on Valentines Day and 24 more on St. Patricks Day. Not looking forward to any more holidays......

Then Don't forget Easter is just around the corner.
I was looking at my mainlines yesterday, and there are a few sections that were snowshoe level and are know about chest high.

All gone here in town and up to 600' alt, but still some in my uncle's big woods, the alt there is 900-1100' and season just got started. Never had much snow this winter at all.

BTW Steve, cool name of your town, didn't know there was another Mon(c)(k)ton anywhere. The guy our city is named after had a k in his name, but it got dropped somewhere in the last couple hundred yr... Robert Monckton.

Nope, no Boro, Heights, River, Upper, Lower, Junction, just Moncton LOL. I think our Moncton is bigger than his though... 126K in greater Moncton, only 2K in Monkton.
