For those members that own this machine I would like to get your opinions. I have an opportunity to rent/purchase one and would like to hear any pro or con comments you might have. Thanks in advance!

Just got one here. Anxious to get it fired up and save some major time around the evaporator! I'm anxious to follow your thread as well as share our results.

We had one last year. Loved it. Only sold it because we expanded. Bought it halfway through the season and still saved 7 cord of wood. Kept up to our old 3.5x13 evaporator. It was about maxed out with 1500 taps on a good year.

Lol. So I guess I've got room to expand past the 400 taps I'll have this year.

We have one for 330 taps on vac. It works great and saves a lot of wood. We expect it last a long time. We run our sap through twice or recirculate to get close to 8% and that seems to work well with our 2x6 leader WSE.
