Dumb Question...

First year setting up 3/16th tubing/gravity here in MN. I've got 100' of elevation drop and doing several runs of 15-25 taps into collection. A question that I feel like I should know the answer to but am maybe overlooking:

1) What fitting do folks use for more than one tap in a larger tree on a run? Droplines -> Y fitting -> Lateral? Or separate T's for each drop?

I always wondered myself but a few years ago I noticed several areas with tubing and stopped to check out the system. Thought it was pretty cool, but where I collect from not practical. only have a few trees over 6 acres.

Not a dumb question at all. Take a look at this treatise on tubing. At least back when running tubing was pretty new, it seems that both methods you mention were recommended.
