Tapped my trees December 26, almost got sap on the 31st of December just mist it by a few degrees.:D

Im going to jump in here with you guys this year if thats ok. Im in East Tennessee. Been tapping a few years. Built a wood fired arch last year. Getting excited!

Gonna be well below freezing the next three nights. Low teens saturday and sunday. I might see if I can get a few trees to bleed on monday.

Tapped 4 trees as a test last week. Collected 7 gallons. Gonna tap everything after the next freeze / thaw.
