They have a 3/16" listed in their online catalog.

We used a bunch of there last year with 3/16 lines, all gravity runs, no vacuum pumps. They go on easy and seem to make a tight seal.

Thanks, thats my thoughts......Quick and simple. Need to replace CDL swivel saddles and need to be to angle several of them. Want to try something new and I like the idea of the hose clamp style.

I should have stated only 5/16 in the 90 degrees elbow. The 3/16 are straight up from hose clamp

I started using them back in 2014, only initially ordered 30 to try them out. They were so much superior that I have never again used any other type, in fact I sold my inventory of what I had been using. They are fast and easy to install and I never had any leaks on them. I tighten them using a 5/16 nut driver bit in one of my drills, and I set the torque by adjusting the clutch on the drill. I have since swapped out many of my older saddles, mostly as I discover a leak in the old one. I use the 5/16 angle type, on both my 5/16 laterals and my 3/16 laterals. For the 3/16, I use a hook connector that changes it from 3/16 to 5/16 for that last loop to the mainline connection. My only issue is that the small parts can get lost (mostly in the snow), so I order extras in the saddle elbow and the seal just in case. Once installed there are no issues.

I installed about 50 this Fall. Make sure the gasket is put on in the proper direction for either 5/16 or 7/16 main line hole. You can get away without an expensive mainline drill by using their short bit and your battery powered drill.

I also use their mainline drill bit, it is super fast and easy to use. I'm not sure if it can be used on 1/2" lines (but it likely can), but I've never used 1/2" I still have a few older mains in 3/4" but all I've put up in the last 5-6 seasons have been 1". The mainline bit does not walk and it makes a perfect hole in about a second.

Where are you buying the saddles online? They list dealers, but I have yet to find any information can order from. Tired of messing with leaky saddles.

I tried them on a new install and love them. I like that you can set the angle you want but it becomes stationary when tightend down. They are the only saddle I will ever use again.

I order them from Homestead Maple in Chazy, NY. While a 1" will go small enough to work on 3/4" mains, it leaves the gasket and tube fitting in the wrong position in relation to the screw mechanism. It it better to use the right size for each size main. I only have 3/4" and 1" mains, only larger tubing is on wet/dry conductors and sap transfer lines. I thus have not used any of these in larger than 1". Fast, easy and leak free when properly tightened. They tighten so well that it is possible to squeeze the main so tight it compresses a waist in the line, best use a drill with a clutch set properly or a hand turned nut driver.
