I have a beaver pond that cuts my property in half. it's about 150ft wide by 500 ft long. I am curious as to thoughts and ideas about the process of running a mainline right across the 125-150 ft width of the pond.

thanks for the input.

I did it in one of my sugar bushes..it's a pretty involved process..but doable...it's best done once the pond freezes solid...drill holes in the ice for long posts which I cut trees for...double up your wires...if you need more give me a call and I will gladly walk you through how I did mine...

There should be a few dead trees in the middle you can use for supports. Do this when it's frozen solid and I see no reason you can't make it work.
