New pans and new arch needed a new home! Had been stock piling materials for a couple years. I worked out of a Van Body for 3 or 4 years prior.

Looks GREAT!!! You did a real nice job tying it into your existing building. You should be proud of your work. That is going to be a lot nicer than working out of your previous Van Body sugar shanty. Your new arch and pans are going to make the envy of all the local sugarmakers. Good luck with the 2017 season.

Nice job on the building and the arch. Both should last a long time! Lol.
You'll like sugar making even more now!

Looks great! Can I ask you what you used to secure your stack? We are going to get ours up hopefully this weekend.

It was simple. I used aircraft cable light maybe 1/16" and ordinary turnbuckles from the hardware store and had 3 points of anchor. 2 on cupola and 3rd on the peak of shanty. Good Luck!

Added a simple preheater made from 24' of 3/4" copper seems to work nicely. Built an RO with a 2400 GPD 4x40 membrane. Currently at 200 psi it is running 1 gallon of water per minute and 2.5 gallons per minute of concentrated sap. Last reading was raw sap 1.9 Brix concentrate 4Brix on a single pass. Try to post some pictures tomorrow.

New Executive Sapper Chair. Dog sits in it and keeps it warm for me, I think? 20916
