Is there any way to connect steam pans together?

I'm cobbling my arch together and plan to use steam pans for the first year or so. Have you guys seen anyone connect steam pans with tubing so the sap can flow from one pan to the next? I know some folks do it with larger pans but what materials do they use for that?

I'm doing it with stainless steel pipe bung welded to the pan. Hooking up some ball valve and gate valve to be able to dump drain the pan, copper pipe connect the pan together with a pipe disconnect in the middle.
