New evaporator build finish

New arch has about80% new steel. Still mostly had that oily film on it. How to finish it? Primer? Black header paint? Stove black? Going to hang an 18 gauge stainless skin over it anyways. My first build, looking for advice

Hey Bentley:
I just cleaned off the oil with mineral spirits any rust or gunk got wire brushed then I painted it with rustoleum's 2000 degree black paint. It held up just great so far go here to check out the build. Jay

I used rubbing alcohol to remove oil film. Then 2 coats of rustolium.
