I've got a new wood lot for next year and I've found that some have 2, 3 or even 4 trunks apparently from a tree cut long ago. So should I assume that they have the same root system ? Most are large enough to tap (12 to 16").
Should they be treated and tapped as 1 tree and rotated each year, or each trunk treated as a single tree and each trunk tapped ?
