Hope everyone is having a good summer! Ours here in Central NH has been HOT with very little precipitation this year. But non the less we are making great progress in the sap house. We finally got our brand new Bill mason pans and have them all plumbed in. Modified the sap house a bit also to make less clutter. We soon will be closing in our porch and moving the kitchen area to the new addition, making room around the evaporator;) If we have time before sap season we will be putting FRP on all the walls to keep it cleaner and brighten things up. (Helps to work in construction and have left overs... cough cough.. )

Also adding 3 small vacuum systems to our production this year. Went with Shurflo 4088 12v pumps. Looking forward to using all the new additions this season.:)

Hope everyone has a great summer and here's to a good 2017 season!

I was very impressed with my Mason pans like that. I have never seen a back pan boil like it.

That's what we have heard. Bill said it doesn't boil hard. It's a violent boil. Looking forward to seeing that. It's gonna take a bit to work out the bugs I'm sure.

It looks like you did a drop-tube evaporator....what size is it 2x8 or 2x6?
Looks great...Enjoy that set up👍!

We did get the drop tube. It is a 2x8 with a steam hood and preheater. It's almost ready for a test boil. Thanks BHMC...

Latest updates for our sap house. Kitchen is almost complete, just a few minor details to finish. By adding the addition and moving the kitchen, Made SOOOO much more room around the evaporator.146741467514676
