I acquired some cast iron house radiators, different sizes. They come apart and would make good evaporator grates if anybody is interested.

Hey bernie. Like your idea. Just aquired bunch of solid 2 inch shaft from work all about 48 inches long. All bent at 32 - 36 inches. Just goings shorten em to 34 inches and try them as grates in new rig I'm building this summer.

Yeah it's me bernie. Built this one only too figure out this one is just a practice run. Finish this one next weekend?? Then gotta rebuild basically from scratch my original 2x6 arch. Probably try to run them both next spring.
Next year try and learn from my mistakes and build a 30" by10 or 12.
Tall Indian graduated HS in June. Short Indian started football practice today.

I'm not doing much welding anymore, back and legs aren't working to well. Brain still does tho. Thinking about a flexible trough to wrap around the stack for preheating. What dia is your stack?

Was gonna go with a 10 inch stack on this. Probably overkill but that'that's the advice I've received.
