Incentive Programs available for Maple Sugar Producers!

Plan now for the 2017 Maple Season!

Working in partnership with USDA-NRCS, the North Country Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council has just released an informational flyer of interest to all maple producers in NH.

The purpose of the flyer is to insure that all NH maple producers are aware of the programs and services offered by NRCS that can counteract some of the labor and energy costs involved in maple production.

The US Department of Agriculture, through the EQIP program administered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is able to offer some very exciting incentives to install equipment that can drastically reduce labor time and energy costs including Reverse Osmosis, GH Furnaces, and Sap Pre-Heaters. In addition to the incentive rates, if you qualify as a “historically underserved” producer, there are added financial incentives to take advantage of these programs.

Now here i am trying to be serious about a serious situation and you joke? Hmmmmm....i always think its funny how people react.......but, i know of course you are right and there is no such thing as govt. Handouts to folks that can afford to buy their own stuff...and of course this has zero impact on the price.......if my response upsets you ask yourself why?? And yes the ammount of money spent on this program that inriches a few on the backs of the u.s. taxpayer has no impact on the 21trillion that our children and grand children owe......no biggie,,,,,but i with fight, suffer and toil for what i have....p.s. visit a dairy farm and tell me who you find working there...i know,,pure fantasy on my part.......when i was 14 i milked 40 and worked in the fields,,think a kid today would get that shot?

Well hopefully northcountryrcd will come back and explain this socialist nightmare boondoggle that will bankrupt the US taxpayers!!

Parker and others have an overwhelming amount of anecdotal evidence (like Parker's bub that got a 40k evap. for 8k) that proves that these "incentive" programs are driving down the price of bulk syrup!! And driving up the national debt!!

This is a serious matter that demands attention and there should be no kidding around about it. I mean a few people have some totally factually unsupported opinions on the matter but know everything there is to know about it, so we need answers!!

Now I got to get back to writing grant proposals so I can get more free stuff...
