Does anyone know how much pepper you add to maple sugar for Maple Pepper?

A word to the wise.DO NOT CALL IT MAPLE PEPPER there is a place in Maine that has a copyright on the name(go figure) we recieived a letter from there lawyer

Maple sugar mixed with black pepper and yes there is a patten on the name. Maple seasoning is a generic name

Maple sugar with pepper was what I was going to put on the labels. That's how I do my maple sugar with cinnamon. I still haven't heard what the ratio would be. Guess I'll have to figure it out. I thought I'd try a few other spices like ground dried jalapeno, ginger and mushroom. Working on a rub also.

I've been experimenting with a blend of Maple sugar, Pepper and Sea salt. I still haven't got to a ratio I'm happy with but I tried some on some walleye I fried on Monday, and I think I'm on the right track. If someone has a blend that works, I'd like to hear more too.
