In the process of upgrading and trying to determine the value of my current rig, it's a 2x4 mason raised flue, 24x30 flue pan and 24x18 syrup pan. It has a hood and cooper preheater (keeps sap around 160-170F), flue pan float box and ball valve control of the syrup pan. The pans are sitting on a Grimm arch rebuilt by Bill, the cast front has a crack in the bottom left hand corner of the door opening. I have built a new airtight door for the front and steel V grates to be used with a blower. I also have everything to convert the arch back to natural draft if desired. It averages 25 gph hour with the blower (23 with shutdown and start up) or 18-20 on natural draft. Thoughts?
Thanks,
