After a great Maple syrup season, it's time to clean the pans. In the past, I've had good results with white vinegar (10%) but this year I was thinking of trying something new. Has anybody ever used "Birch sap" to clean up SS pans? My limited understanding is to collect sap from White Birch, and bring your pans to a boil, and the buildup melts away. Would love to get first hand accounts from someone that knows this process.
