Being slow know will allow you to rest up for when it is not slow. I boiled about 25 hrs last week . If thats slow I am in trouble when it pouring.

Rich, we tapped two weeks ago slow here also. We put out 445 taps and have only made 30 or so gallons. Looks good for the next 4 days but still are way behind where we should be this late in the season. Could be a long season have to wait and see. Last year the we made nearly half of our syrup the last week of the season. Good luck Mark

we have had a good few days but looking at the long term forcast I would say it may be over. temps don't go below freezing in mid michigan in the next 10 days. highs in the 50/60's several days.
