I noticed today that I have a 2-3 inch crack on the face of the arch where the right corner of the bottom right door meets up against the face. Its a Lapierre 2x5 junior that I bought brand new two years ago. Is this common to happen so soon or is this a possible defect? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Unless you're using a blower to make it burn hotter than it should I would think that it is a defect. Contact your Lapierre dealer or Lapierre directly to find out.

I just picked up a used Lapierre Waterloo Small 2x5 that's about 5 years old. The day after I bought it, I noticed several cracks in the front. I'm not sure if they were there and I didn't notice, or they happened in the process of getting it home. I do know that the previous owner had a blower. It's too bad because the rig is in excellent condition otherwise.
I have one in the same spot on my 1990's Leader 2x6. I have seen many images of other arch's that have a crack in the same location, even with different brands.
Cracks are common, I had a CDL that had cracks in 2 places and it was natural draft.

I contacted Lapierre directly which is where I purchased it and they are going to replace the face. Excellent customer service!
