Any reviews of PF evaporator pans from Quebec?

As I understand, great quality, good price, but occasional long delays and difficult to ahold of. That said, he did respond to my Facebook message quickly when I asked about a price. What it boils down to- if you plan ahead and give extra time, the rig you get will be of great craftsmanship and price.

Buddy bought on of his all in one pans. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-commercial-industriel/ottawa/maple-syrup-evaporator-pan-hybrid-pan/1125490381?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true With shipping and the exchange rate I think he said it was at least a 1/3 less than what smokey lake quoted him for the same pan. Top notch quality for sure.

For a reasonably apple-to-apples 2x6 drop flue airtight all stainless, smoky was about 15% cheaper shipped to me compared to patrick. Get quotes from all, find the price and features that fit you the best.

We purchased our first evaporator from Patrick and were very happy with it. As others have said, don't wait until the last minute and you will be happy. We ordered ours in February for the next season and had it delivered in early June. His work is very top notch. We would have purchased our current unit from him, but we found a great price and liked the features of the Leader, so we went with them this time.
