So, I ordered anothe case of quart jugs from Leader Evaporator on March 2 and they still have not been shipped. I would guess they are on backorder as everyone else is probably trying to bottle now etc. With that said, I have my finished syrup sitting in a 5 gallon food safe bucket with a lid. Its in a cold area (but not frozen). Thoughts on how long it will be ok? It is at 70 brix.

It will be fine until May, if its 70 brix then longer. If it gets in to May and you still can't get it bottled stir it everyday, seems to work for me. Cooler is better!

I believe Dr. Perkins gave an answer to a similar question not long ago. Similarly worded post subject as well. A lot depends on the density of the syrup and the conditions it is stored in. There must be somewhere else you can get the jugs other dealers, producers, suppliers.
