It's always interesting to hear someone's comments on syrup making, especially when they knew nothing about it to begin with.
Sadly, I attended calling hours yesterday for one of my tree owners. I still use buckets on those trees. His wife is originally from Germany and her sister saw the sap pails for the first time. After looking out at the tree's with the buckets she said, "You have so many bird feeders!".
