Releaser Leaking

I have a Gilles Bernard #216 vertical single releaser. I have a vacuum leak on the releaser control arm. When the releaser is filling the hole above the control arm leaks vacuum. When it releases the sap the hole is covered by the control arm. I have taken apart the cylinder and greased all gaskets with no luck. Has anybody had this issue before and what did you do to fix it. Thanks!

I had this problem and had to replace the valve assembly.

What do you mean by valve assembly. Do you mean the actuator?

Yes the part with the piston in it.
