My neighbour rigged this up for me after helping me tighten lines and cut drops this year. We both used muscles we didn't even know we had and wished we had about three more hand and arms after we were done. So this device was made for day 2. Worked amazing. Works great for tightening the end of line connection and cutting drops. I still had to manually cut line and use hot water to install fitting. But didn't have to try and do it while holding a line in one hand and the other between my knees. My tubing is like a tight rope wire now. Banjo tight. He worked for hydro before he retired and the clamps are called wavelength clamps. No idea what their use was before but they work great on Maple tubing. He glued a small piece of thick wall rubber hose inside them And it grips the 5/16 no problem. 1398013981
