Dial thermometers

I have zeroed 3 thermometers in boiling hot water that was stirred and they won't read accurate. I increased my pan depth to 2 inches no help. If I get them to work once the next draw they won't work. Hydrometer is right on. Any suggestions?

FYI I had them same thing happen to me. Since then, I no longer use any type of thermometer. I stickly use the hydrometer. Good luck.
