Got about 50 gallons of sap out of 60 taps last week and over the weekend. Will see if the cold nights Monday and Tuesday produce more sap this week. I guess it will be over after that. So about 12 gallons of syrup from 60 taps this year.
Visited Kent Sugar House in Berlin, NY on Saturday as part of the NY maple week open house. Nice guys that gave a good show and tell about the process.
