Can the 3/16" tubing be used on vac.?

Yes, but you need slope on the 3/16 because vacuum is not transported well in 3/16. If you have the slope, and connect the 3/16 to a main that is on vacuum, much of the vacuum helps the 3/16 even more, but not all.

800 tap sugarbush with 400 taps 3/16 tubing. 5/16 taps 15" vac, 3/16 gauge spikes. Best runs 2,400 gals sap in 24 hrs. Do it, it's great. Thanks for the nice note by the way.
