We are a Girl Scout Camp in Ohio, and this was our first year of producing. Most of our syrup went to use at our festival, souvenir take-aways and donors. Next year we would like to sell syrup. I don't even know where to start with selling- what licenses do we need? What inspections do we need?

We are hoping to be covered under cottage standards, and only sell out of our property. Does anyone have an advice/experience/wisdom on this subject that they are willing to share?

We mostly want to be able to sell to our membership, and alumni, because they think it is so cool that the syrup is coming from the trees, at the camp that they love.

I would be grateful for any help!

I think Camp Lazurus on 23 north of 270 makes maple syrup, i don't know if they sell it or not. Where is this camp, as i live close to Columbus?

The above resource looks great. Here is another one that is pretty good as well.
