Does anyone have a recommendation for a place that produces custom labels for glass and plastic jug printing?

you can design labels at www.onlinelabels.com and they do have a printing service...a little expensive for just a few but they'll do it

www.jamlabelizer.com, and www.beerlabelizer.com are good options too.
1. Create your design
2. Save it
3. Transfer image to Avery or other similar program.

I use vista print. This company has lots of options and great prices. You can order other items to coordinate such as banners, shirts, etc.

I don't use labels myself. I picked up some blank business cards from walmart, that I can print myself. the brand (I think Avery) has a website you can design the card, then just place the card stock in the printer and print off however many you want.......then I take a hole punch then use a rubber band to attach the card through the hole and onto the jug/bottle

That works fine when you make a gallon, but when your doing hundreds of gallons that takes a lot of time.

If you want to do it yourself you can't beat Avery. They have labels and cards in all shapes and sizes and a section where you can create your design. I print mine myself but you can also have them print for you. You can and I do save your projects on their website too. That feature came in handy when my laptop crashed and I lost everything.

Syruplabels.com is great. You can use your own artwork or one of their stock styles.

Printed at uprinting.com
Stamps produced at simonstamps.com (really high quality stuff in my professional opion).

Alternatively kiss cut stickers from stickermule.com work well. It's printed vynil so it's really durable and you can do a full color bleed:

SyrupLabels.com They do a great product but once they run a proof for your approval, request a sample be mailed to you. At one time I had some printed but the final product looked far darker than the proof. They insisted it was my computor. This was eventually resolved by them without charge and the replacement labels are great (this time I had proofs sent to me). In the end, they were a great company to deal with.
Even if you use some other printer, I still suggest you get proofs mailed for close inspection.
Label pricing is high, especially for the first 1000 labels and the price for the next level is only slightly higher total. On the flip side, ask what the shelf life is, you don't want to buy a 10 yr. supply if the adhesive will start to fail in 2-3 yrs. Where ever you buy, get a freezer rated adhesive, that will hold best on hot syrup bottles or jugs too.

I've tried emailing syruplabels.com several time and haven't heard back. Are they typically responsive better by phone?
