Love smoky lake products but is anyone else grate in the filter rack rusting? My unit is brand new this year....

It shouldn't rust. Give Jim Schumacher a call. He is vary good about taking care of his customers. If you didn't buy it direct, contact that dealer first. I'll bet they will get a good replacement too.
