A cold rainy day here. Ron is boiling. Pumping in rest of sap from yesterday. He's using up all the old wood that's been sitting around. A good clean up. Syrup is darker today, still a cinnamon taste. Not unpleasant, just different. Looks like possible snow later in the week. So on we go....45 gallons processed so far
