Blower

Hey guys,question for you 2x4 arch guys.what cmf blower do you have for your rig. Looking to get a new one but don't want it to small or to big. Thanks james

I'm curious as to where everyone else's blower is located. Front or back. I have a very old arch and am thinking I need to move the blower behind the fire box on the bottom

I am running a 2x5 arch and I put my blower in the back wall of the ash pan area. Works great and blows up through grate. Boiled all season and didn't had barely any ashes in the ash pan. It all burns and goes up the stack. Not sure what the cfm is , It is a exhaust gas fan from a water heater. works great

Thanks newmod.my blower is in the front but I'm thinking it should be in the back

On our temporary arch, we use two 260 cfm computer fans funnelled into the front (only place they would work on our setup). The fans are on a PWM controller, and we run them about 50% or 75-80% if we feel like blowing more wood out the stack to boil off a few more ounces per hour.
