wondering if it would be alright to reboil syrup that is light in color and consistency to maybe darken it
pulled an allnighter and had to stop before finishing my last boil. thanks ED

Every time you heat and cool syrup it darkens a little, at least that's my understanding. Also, a small amount of darker syrup from later in the season will darken the light stuff. We have zero market for light syrup, so we blend the first batches with the last batches for bottling. I save a couple bottles of the light stuff for show and tell and to eat with some desserts.

I just did exactly what you are talking about, and I don't think the grade of my syrup changed at all. It might be very slightly darker, but it was light amber before re-boiling and it's still light amber.
