Not a week ago, I still had about 75 of 140 taps still running - Yesterday, despite a near perfect frost at 26 degrees, things just stopped. So, all done here in Kent, a good year with almost 1700 gals. of sap boiled. This year I bought a refractometer just curious about sugar content. I did find one tree at 1%, late in the season though. Most were 2, I did find a few at 2.5 Now I have to wash all this stuff.......................
