Omg. Just walked to the booster in the woods. Sap is gushing in. Its 72° here. Ice is off the ponds. Saw a baby red eared slider sunning itself. Ron boiling as fast as he can. Bulk tank will be full soon. Got to make calls to have some picked up. Way too much! OK. We've never seen anything like this. Got to get the guys down the mountain to come get as much as possible. No way to handle this.

Haven't had a freeze here sense Saturday night and SAP has not stopped flowing yet every bucket and drum over flowing every day vacuum bring it in faster then the RO can process It strangest thing I ever seen in 20 years I been making syrup don't ever recall a season this strange

Had the same here in NE Ohio the past three days... Had a freeze Sat night, but no run on Sunday. Then with 60° temps it poured out Mon, Tues and Wednesday (yesterday). Sap was clear as a bell, sugar was highest its been yet. Made no sense to me at all.

Got another 160 gallons yesterday. Cold nights,days well above freezing ,but things have slowed. Time is about up. Will try again this afternoon

Ok we got a great run yesterday tanks are almost full. The weather looks good for another week here.

Still going! Went and checked the tanks and nice amount of sap and good stream flowing in. Today more snow following a cold rain yesterday keep on keeping on!

This may be the last week for us. Temps are climbing up and sap is slowing down to a trickle.

Yep pulling the plug on 2016 season. Not a bad season had better had worse.
