I added a dry line this winter, thinking it would help because my woods is pretty flat. It seems now that sap is running that if I open up the dryline the sap in my wet line does not come in as good, almost like it is working against each other. Any ideas what the problem could be? Im A little frustrated

I guess I got nervous for no reason, just checked it and is working great! I wasn't patient enough I suppose

I have a main on 1% slope. Added a dry line last season and had the same findings. The tree gases are removed from the flow so the sap comes in much slower but the gallons per minute are the same...just not as fast with the pockets of gases gone.

I agree it is slow and steady, instead of a bunch then nothing for awhile. I am very happy with it now, after being discouraged to start

Hey. I'm going to be installing my very 1st tubing with a mainline this season. I keep reading about dry lines on hear. Could you please explain or put pics. I have a basic understanding but I'm sure not a complete one.
