Got a used Lapierre 600 gph RO. Started it for the first time this morning to rinse the membrane with well water. The feed pump works and will pump water through the vessel and out to the drain but the low pressure gauge shows no pressure at all. I can see water in the gauge. The feed pump will keep running and does not shut down. So I am assuming that pressure is ok otherwise it would shut off. Unless the low pressure switch is bad also. I realized today I dont know squat about RO's and would appreciate any help out there. Anyone know someone in the central Vt area that would be willing to help us out? 802-685-4626. Thanks. Jim

Are you sure it is water in the gauge? Most of these gauges are liquid filled at the factory. My guess is you have a bad gauge. if you start the ro and then close the valve feeding it does it shut down?

My thought is that you have a bad gauge too. The gauges are filled with oil so that isn't something to worry about. The RO has a low pressure switch that automatically shuts the machine off when the pressure drops below 25psi so I think that that is okay too. If you can't figure out the instructions on the machine give Lapierre USA a call and they will walk you through it. It is really pretty simple to operate when you get it figured out.

Thanks friends. I think you are right about it being a bad gauge. I was able to concentrate today. The high pressure gauge works and the unit shuts off automatically. Guess I just need to order a new gauge. Best. Jim.
